LIFE JACKETS

Transport Canada requires Life Jackets to be worn during all flights except for children under 2 years of age. Life Jackets will be provided.

For the protection of our passengers as well as our staff, we clearly outline, communicate, and enforce various company policies to help make your travel safe, efficient and enjoyable.

IDENTIFICATION AND CHECK-IN

All passengers (18 yrs and older) are required provide government issued photo ID prior to boarding.  All passengers are required to check in a minimum of 30 minutes prior to scheduled departure time listed on their itinerary. Boarding will commence 15 minutes prior to scheduled departure. Agents cannot guarantee boarding upon late arrival.

BAGGAGE ALLOWANCE

  • All baggage and cargo (including laptop bags and purses) brought on board must be weighed prior to boarding an aircraft
  • Each paid seat has 25lbs of luggage included in the ticket and is guaranteed to fly with you
    • Excess baggage will be charged per lb and will fly on a stand by basis as required
  • SCA strongly recommends adhering to the above luggage restrictions to avoid travel delays and disruptions, we hold no liability or responsibility for luggage that cannot be accommodated
    • Luggage that cannot be accommodated will be sent over on the next flight with available room to accommodate luggage that was not able to be transported with the passenger

FEES, TAXES AND SURCHARGES

All fees associated with scheduled flights are included in the prices listed online, these charges are as follows:

  • GST – (5%)
  • Docking fees
  • Whale.org fee

RESERVATIONS & CANCELLATIONS

  • Reservations can be made online or by calling in to any Sunshine Coast Air office
  • Confirmation itineraries will be sent out at the time of booking and the day prior to the scheduled flight
  • A credit card number is required to confirm your reservation. Payment will be processed at the time of the booking or within the cancellation policy period
  • All fares and credits are non-transferrable.  Name changes are seen as a cancellation and penalties based on the fare class will apply.
  • If SCA is unable to complete flight service for any reason, alternative methods of transportation may be required to complete your travel requirements. These decisions are up to the discretion of SCA management prior to or at the time of departure
  • It is strongly recommended to reconfirm your reservation details 24-hours prior to departure.
  • Customers who do not show up for their flight, or cancel outside of the cancellation period will forfeit the full fare paid
